Anyone going? Really fancy it as I like Tiga and I've not been to Fabric before (I shall be one of these alleged 'tourists' )

Is there anything else, possibly a bit quirky, on this Friday?

I'm off here tomorrow night:

If you do end up going to Fabric head for Essence for pre-clubbing drinks where Mark Sun is playing, literally 2 minutes away 8)

I really would not go to Fabric this Fri if i was you Clara,I really want to go but after going the other week i don't think i'll go on a Fri again :(

This is what i had to say about it.....

"Went to Fabric for JLC...brilliant music but WORST CROWD EVER Never have i seen so many completely rude, clueless tossers in a club, half of them didn't even seem to know what a club was, let alone they should be in one. Nearly walked out, only didn't because i wouldnt have been able to get home until mates left at 6am Tourist city, and as if they all queued up for 2 hours WTF, as if you'd even consider queueing for that long....i was moaning about having to wait for 20 minutes, foooook two hours. W&nkers."

" honestly couldnt believe some of the people there, if i hadn't seen it myself i wouldnt believe it if someone told me Old lechy blokes so drunk they couldnt stand up on the dance floor, falling over everyone, being sick everywhere, groups of girls pushing there way to middle of floor, actually fully pushing people out the way so they could stand around and take pictures of eachother, blokes with signs in their pockets they got out saying "get the f**k out of my way or you'll get hurt" (something along those lines, can't remember exactly what), one bloke with a minder who kept pushing evryone else out of his bosses way and threatening people "

The only way to avoid all the scum and twats was to retreat to the vip balcony but what fun is that?

It really was that bad.

8O That's awful! Although, up here, we have to contend with neds in the bigger clubs.

Couldn't agree more

One good thing is that Oakie is on down the road at Turnmills so both venues may be a little quieter than if there was just a big name on at one of them.....

I've only been to Fabric once, due to living in Scotland. We had a great time (it's a huge place) and at least they don't play any trance... ;) Someone apparently tried to start a fight with one of my mates, but my mate was in a state ( ) and probably did something to provoke it.

There is a big difference between Friday & Saturday night. We have had many a great night on a Saturday and the 7am finish really means you get a propor night. Friday is, in my experience, (I'm showing my age here) much younger and booze orientated than Saturday. If you like your house twisted and techno banging I still say Fabric on a Saturday night takes some beating.
