Serves Arsenal right. Milan and United in cups, plus a close call with Chelsea and United for the League... another trophyless season?!

What is with this anti Arsenal vitriol?

The funniest thing about all the 'facts' spouted by Spurs fans about average age of team, number of first team players, etc is the rather pathetic fact that all you can do (sadly) is compare yourselves to Arsenal!? The club that has dominated North London derbys for 21 years.

Surely you should be looking at the bigger picture rather than just little old Arsenal? :lol:
 
Think the anti Arsenal brigade goes back quite a while.
Arsenal have always seemed to get away with much more than other clubs probably down to their influence at the Premier League and FA when Dein was there.
Hence Adebayor headbutting his own team mate. Surely that is a 3 match ban at least straight away?
If you go back further Merson breaks down in tears admitting coke problem and gets a protective arm, Rio Ferdinand gets how many months ban just for missing the test but not actually guilty of taking the drug.
Plus the amount of decisions that they 'used' to get away with not so much now as they play football rather than smah the opposition to pieces. Mind you they have replaced that with theatricals. Plus Mr Wenger never seeing anything also does ranckle some people.
 
I see BBC grabbed this game for their Saturday night 5.15 showing!!
Nice way to start the evening or if you are on a Leo Sayer something to perk you back up. I shall be arguing with my son who no doubt will want to watch Ben 10! So I shall banish myself to the bedroom to avoid such agro. Must admit I am looking forward to it and not often I say that about many games. Although I am looking forward to the return of the Champions League too.
