Hehe... Exstasis... The afterhours club they had there every morning this summer was cool. That is one dodgy venue!! Love it!
 
South American Beauty Queens.
The Extasis disco in Sant Antoni is running a series of beauty competitions to elect beauty queens from each of the South American countries who have populations living on the island. So far they have elected a beautiful 16 year old girl to represent Ecuador called Karen Gissela who won the competition competing against 15 other girls. The organisers say that they are not just looking for beautiful girls but also their personality & ability to dance. Prizes of between 300€ & 1000€ are on offer in each heat which is proving to be a great attraction for all the residents on the island.

Of course they are. I mean, if the contestants are gonna have any chance of employment at Secret Garden after the competition they have to be able to swing around a pole and chat up customers. :p :p :p
 
the secret garden is not a pole dance club in winter! it is the home of azucar - a salsa club which is very popular with the south american community here.
 
and which celebrates this afternoon its 7th anniversary with the performance of a cuban orchestra from 7pm :!:

btw, last winter secret garden reopened as a music club too (la fiesta with RnB, house and spanish music)!! :idea:
