Experience with Lio

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has any comments regarding Lio. We are going with a group of 14 friends. Seems like it is kinda pricey but was wondering if it is worth it. Thanks.

very pricey yeah. it's a nice experience, but whether it is worth the money only you can decide for yourself.

if going for dinner I hope you have your booking confirmed!

Thanks for the response. IF you were going to blow your money on one night...Coccoon vs Pacha vs Lio?

you´re comparing three completely different things here and without knowing your taste it is really hard to give a recommendation. I am a clubber at heart and cocoon is easily my favourite night so my personal choice is very easy.

cocoon --> techno night for music lovers. the most diverse crowd of all of the techno parties on the island. great vibe - but I will admit it is not a night where the VIP normally gets packed.

lío - dinner show. very good food, great shows, but it comes with its price. I went once for the full experience but I wouldn´t pay it again - simply because to my personal discretion, a good dinner with a show doesn´t have such a high monetary value. but I understand everyone is different there and especially on holiday, people love to have an unique experience and things like lío and heart are exactly that. I´ve seen you seem to be coming to the island this month so if you haven´t got a booking yet for lío, chances are very small you´ll get a table. it is notoriously fully booked.

pacha - depending on your music taste this could be your middle ground between the two above. club night, big VIP area which on most of the nights is very busy too (there are exceptions). and there you could even combine it by having dinner at pacha restaurant first and then head into the club (either with or without VIP table)

happy to help, but without knowing preferences it´s rather tricky.

Thank you so much for your honest opinion (regarding Ibiza nightlife choices). I wanted to pick your brain some more.
Our group consist of 35-40 years old who love to have fun. Not everyone ate big time clubber so I have been going back and forth. We want to experience Ibiza to its max. So I'm trying to plan the ultimate 3 nights. We live music, but mainly mainstream.
Would appreciate any other thoughts and recommendation.
Thanks

in that case a night at pacha with dinner beforehand does sound right up your street I think.

Here is another dumb question... If there is 14 in our party, do we have you book a table for 14? Could we tell them less?

no you can´t. they will make you pay the difference if you book for less than the number of people you are and also you might not have enough space then, depending how busy the VIP area is.

sounds good. But how is the vibe for the "flower power" night?

alright, so you´re specifically talking about monday night. well - flower power is pacha´s most special party, but it´s not everyone´s thing. think 60-70s music (beatles, lynyrd skynrd and up to donna summer), a very fun night with a lot of dressed up (hippie style) people and cool decor in the club - but it´s maybe not the ibiza club night you expect.

is monday night your only option then?

No, I also have Sunday night (soliman is spinning I think).
I was gonna do cafe del Mar on Sunday, but can move that.

i had dinner with lio, i can be fun, but one time as its quiet pricey, u pay for the show but there is nothing special its like paying some cabaret show in paris such as Lido or Crazy Horse...
=> vintage lio is hardly recommanded on friday...

Ive been to flower power, as a rock addict, i wont go back even i had fun but its not what im looking for when going to ibiza=>HOUSE MUSIC!!!
