Exclusive\Luxury Villas - Wedding Reception?

Hi

I've had a brainwave or least I think I have- Previously I've asked about weddings on the island and the practicalities... but has anyone ever rented a villa out that let say sleep 15-20 and had a wedding reception there.

I guess I would have to look at caterers etc but it could be a lot cheaper than organising someone else to do it, plus you could get an amazing place of a fraction of the price for a few days hire.

Is this stupid? Has anyone done this before?8)
 
Are you practising catholics then? I looked into this ut found out that the only way to get married properly in Ibiza is to go through your churchs priest here in UK and he contacts a parish in Ibiza otherwise its only a blessing and has no legal meaning. I dont believe in any of that crap so decided we will just have a small do here and then have the honeymoon in Ibiza instead. Not as glam but will defo make up for it :D
Dont see why you couldnt hold a reception in a villa though, if you didnt want to stay in one then I would find some you like on the net and ask for the price for the use of one day and if it is out of season I am sure they would agree there is always loads of high end villa empty during the season due to the price.
