Ever wonder why you get certain songs stuck in your head?

thought you had an answer for me then. Of late I keep singing that bloody advert "its only 1.99" and also the annoying kfc advert always sticks in my head

read an interesting article about this in the Metro the other morning, some people suffer from musical "hallucinations" where they actually hear music as though it's playing in the room, apparently beethoven had them, hence his work when deaf, so when we hear a song in our heads, we are having less severe musical hallucinations
