Events in June

What's happening in June. Any local celebrations? Parties or Fiestas? What about any gigs worth taking in or maybe something special at the clubs. Any trotting at the hippodrome? If so when in June? Anything for us once a year tourists that we wouldn't want to miss. Come on you Ibiza Guru's. Where are you? Let's be aving you!

this is what our friend russ wrote about it:

We stayed in San Juan in 2002, the week of the festival. Don't remember any naked bonfire jumping though but we did see:
A brilliant folk band and some wild local hippie psy/chill dj's
A splendid, and very, very loud firework display
People selling cheap beer and having fun doing it
A real piece of Ibecan life. Every family in the villiage was there, done up in their sunday best. The church was kicking and the whole main street was a party.

I believe that pretty much every villiage on the island has it's own saints festival. Check 'um out.

shame that he missed the naked bonfire jumping!! :lol:
 
Anything earlier

Sounds just what I was looking for but trouble is I'm only there until 18th. Can you persuade them to do it a week earlier?
 
Nothing earlier then?

Any happenings 4th to the 18th of June that anyone knows about? Or are we going a week too early?
