Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if any of you have flights booked with this company from either Kent International or Shanon International then it looks like you have a problem.

The airport is currently surrounded by media and although unconfirmed the rumour is that all flights are now grounded.

Waiting to hear from them, not holding my breath tho.

Rumour has it other airlines have been waiting for this to happen so they can take over the airport.

But we now have to find other flights for September! :(
 
im sure as mr sensible you have paid on a credit card and will get yer money back (minus, as my sister found out when her holiday co went bust last year, 'administrative charges)

however, i guess the chances of getting a flight as cheap as you paid for it now, for september, aint great:evil:

on 5live now i just heard that it does seem likely the airport is gonna stay open,

Planestation plc & EUjet Ltd. now both in voluntary liquidation :?

Other airlines are being invited to tender for the site!

Yes, finding no flights for September under at least double the price paid to EUjet for 7 of us! Hopefully should be able to get money back (in the end!)
 
Don't rely on easyjet - just went in to check prices for end of september / beginning of october , going out was ok but coming back was £230 each - I expect return fares for the two of us to be less than that one way single
