Hola !

I hope this is the right spot where to post this question, i tried to search but i could not find something about Estonians at Ibiza.

So my question is, does someone know any Estonians at Ibiza, with who i can get in contact with? I kind-of, remember that some Estonians own a internet-cafe over there?.. Maybe i remember wrong.

Maybe it would be a little bit easier for me to understand how things work over there.

Thank you for your information, if any

Cheerio,

Oh and, if anybody knows about cleaning villas?

Cleaners required to work as a team and sometimes on their own. Jobs vary from daily housekeeping services, to full villa changeovers ready for new arrivals. Also after party team clean ups and weekly residents home cleans. If given a team leader position, you will be responsible for some keys and some collection and delivery of laundry to be laundered at the launderette. Also you will be expected to take note of and report any damages to the manager. Cleaning top end luxury villas and apartments. Experience not neccessary as training given. But must have the correct attitude and not be afraid to out 100% into the job at hand. Must be reliable, trustworthy and friendly. Own car advantage as paid more per hour. Very good hourly rate paid. Higher than in a bar or restaurant. Only work during the day so lots of time to enjoy the island. Hard work but very rewarding and fun to be part of the team. Lots of perks, inc tips and leftovers! End of season bonuses given for hardest workers!

I found this kind of job advertisment over ibizajobcentre.com .
What can you tell me about these kind of jobs, are they worth it, pros&cons etc?

And what should be the starting money for the first month?

Bar staff can generally expect around six euros an hour after tax. So if this company is telling the truth you can expect more than that, however I wouldn't expect much more. I have actually been to Estonia a few times and love the country and the people but have never come across any Estonians in Ibiza.

Estonia is also a good party place ;) What time did you go there?

Do you have any tips how to keep it low on food and stuff like that?
And whatabout the truth, is it "normal" to lie about job thingies? Or do these kind of things happen very often?

Hi Hugi, Just noticed that you are from Talinn. What a great city. I have always been there in winter because I have a thing for snow. Probably because most of my year is spent in the sun! You don't need to lie about jobs that you have had, there is no job security here during the summer. All that people are concerned about is that you will turn up every day, work hard and that you won't steal from them. If you are honest and you work hard you will do well, but you will never get rich working here.

Good luck.
