Es Vive???

Going to be my fifth year in Ibiza, and I have stayed at the jet the last 3 years.....really like being near Bora Bora, but I think that I want to stay in a dif hotel this year..... Has anyone stayed at Es Vive? I hear only good things about it, and it looks great from the web-site (then again EVERY hotel looks great on a web-site) I have never been there, but it looks like a cool place to stay........any reviews?
 
Do a search for Es Vive and you'll get lots of people's opinions on it.

I've stayed there twice and wouldn't stay there again, it's very over-priced for what is nothing more than a room (most have no balconies) with a bit of Hed Kandi tat to try and make it look more upmarket :roll: :lol:

There are a few pluses like no kids, nice food (when the restaurant is ever open :roll: ), nice outside bar area but the downsides far outweight the pros imo.

You'll find that most people on here who've stayed there before wouldn't go back and stay there in a hurry.
 
thanks.....if it was up to me, the room wouldnt matter at all (i just need a place to sleep for 3 hours a day) but my girl is looking to stay someplace nice this year. we were leaning towards pacha el hotel, but it is too far from the beach.
 
You can walk from el Hotel to the beach in 5-10 minutes, and the beach at Talamanca is much nicer than the beaches at Figueretas or Playa den Bossa.

we stayed there 2 years ago and didn't find the walk a problem.

Jon what did u think of Jet? I was thinking of staying there this yr, but the whole thought of only 1 key per room kinda makes me not want to stay there with 5 friends, ya know?
p.s. how was pacha on sat? I went on friday for oscar g. It was o.k. really dead, but then again I only got there at 2:30 am., but the music was good.

jet is cool....the one key thing isnt that bad because you can just leave it at the front desk.....but that key also controls the power in your room, so there is no AC while you are out.

pacha was a blast on sat, luckily i had a table because it was more packed than any club that i have been in, in nyc.
