Is hotel es Vive a cool place to stay? I'm having trouble finding a place for 2 nights in august and they have a suite available. The pics on the website don't look the greatest. Does anyone know if the suites are nice and if the vibe at the hotel is good and it's a fun place to stay? Are there parties there on the weekend? We are in our early thirties our preferred hotel is Pikes (so we like a vibe like that) but it's booked.

Thanks in advance.

In a word, yes!

Currently staying there and it has completely exceeded my expectations: lovely pool area, super friendly staff, nice guests (no posers or chavs), no kids, smart decor, great music, delicious cocktails, I could go on...!

I'd recommend a room on the upper floor (3rd) facing the sea, as the lower rooms can be noisier due to the Experience club staying open until 7am. We don't hear a thing from our room on the third floor though. Rooms are on the smaller side, but that's a minor issue, plus it's not as though you're likely to spend much time in there. The bathroom and balconies are decent though.

I think they've recently made a lot of improvements as when I last visited just for drinks in 2009, it didn't seem as nice as it does today.
