Es Vedra Shrine on Illetes ?

Anyone seen it ?

I'm guessing it must be a place of 'worship' to Es Vedra due to its positioning?

Stumbled across the various rock piles, sculptures etc on the way from up to the Espalmador crossing on Formentera.

Really atmospheric, slightly unsettling place but can't recall seeing any mention of it on the forum before.

Definately a place for quiet contemplation and an area to be treated with a great deal of respect.

Looking forward to getting my pics sorted of the trip.

Terrier, don't know exactly where/what you mean, sort your pics please ;)
 
Well, the area was on the left hand side of the peninsula of Es Trocadores about 5 minutes walking time before you reach the end of the peninsula and have Espalmador facing you.

As for the pics. I have to waste a few pictures first as the film is still in the camera - I have one of those 'old fashioned' cameras! - so they may be a while yet.

Anyway , I'm sulking because nobody answered my question re : the trees on Formentera that I posted on the Open Chat earlier this afternoon. I should have probably posted the question on here now I think about it. :)

I think I know where do you mean, can't wait for a long beach day in Illetes :D :D
