Es Cana (Cala Nova)

We're off to Es Cana next Monday staying at the Cala Nova hotel. I read some really good reviews when we booked but some more recent ones haven't been so complementary. Has anyone been this year - we are travelling with two children and wondered what the pool area was like for them. Also, what is the best way of getting into Sta Eulalia from there, as we quite fancy having a look heard it is very nice?

es cana cala nova

nice choice of hotel, inviting pool as well.a small walk to get bus,get a map off this site, your in a fiesta hotel so use your book for discounts in shops ok,plus get it stamped when you leave for points, and you can use any hotel in group to have a meal.so you can spend a day anywhere, just read the book, only thing is a bit of a walk to bars shops ect,i use that hotel a lot,for evening meals,i spend the day there .ie hippy market days, then no rushing back to my hotel in pdb, enjoy it

Tony is a good source of info about the Cala Nova, he's been going there 367 times a year for the last 7 centuries - or something like that :)

I'm off to Es Cana myself in the next couple of weeks, we're staying at the Caribe, and apparently there's a ferry linking the resort to St. Eulalia, Ibiza Town etc - we're definitely going to be using that service, apparently it's as cheap as chips too.

il be off myself to cala nova in a couple of weeks, only like my 4th visit though.the pools are great for kids,if your kids are still only small theres small kids pools then theres the main one which is in the middle of all the sunbeds so you can keep an eye on things.i went on the boat a couple of years ago,it was great,a lot funner than the bus, only a couple of euros aswell!realy good hotel,if you like your food you will love it!
