ES cala playa apartments

IVe just booked to go to the Es Calal Playa for 10 nights, near the sunset strip.

I have now heard quite bad reviews from people that have been there. Anyone else been there and can tell me what its like?. Im tempted to cancel and pay a couple of hundred more to go somewhere else if it really is that bad.
 
If you use the search option above you'll find lots of reviews but if I'm not wrong there's a spelling mistake, I think you are looking for ES CALO PLAYA ;)
 
mate don't worry bout bad reviews, I stayed there in mid august last year, good location jus round corner from kanya an sunset strip far enough from west end to get some sleep but close enough to easily get to it, the hotel pool isnt the best we tended to go just down the road to a pool bar (cant remember its name) but was better and could get drinks. The rooms arnt bad but not great either which u expect for quite a cheap hotel but the air con is a life saver!!! The water in the shower an taps is slightly salty but this is the case in most hotels in san an it only really bothered me for the first day just dont drink it! and use mineral water to brush your teeth!!!!!
