Enter...the night

Was a bit disappointed with it if truth be told. It was comfortably busy but not heaving. The tunes were more or less the same as a year ago. Definitely needs freshing up in my view. Oh well music on tonight to lift the spirits! Which I need as some filthy Italian drug dealer nicked my iPhone

Ps, does anyone a know if drinks tokens at space can be used at a later date? In my wisdom i bought 5 and proceeded to pay at the bar. Dhow

had a totally different impression: must have been one of the best enter parties of my life. from the start at around 2230 until 6am Music was spot on, the atmosphere great and people up for it. caught gaiser, matador, dubfire, recondite and exceptionally good first two hours of rich. think the party has really found itself in its third year.

plus: finally they figured out the main room! the last two years the dark discoteca at enter was the scariest place in ibiza (well, maybe only beaten by martin ferrer's bedroom) - now with the introduction of blue, red and yellow lights it looks friendly again. and it has brought the ladies back, btw!

recondite has an amazing year so far. (but he's also simply an amazing producer)

I'm a bit torn with enter this year I must say. I didn't go last night so can't comment on this one, but I've also been sometimes and thought 'meh' and sometimes I did really like it.

From what I have heard, it is just that it has lost a bit of its edgy appeal and all that dark in the discoteca is probably a reflection of the music itself at the time. Calling it scary seems insulting to some of us that went, especially from certain Spaniards and their very "worldly" views of social interaction.
I just think the whole "cool" and bad to the bone act of enter might be losing a bit if its edge. I mean I remember enter 2 , Marcel detmman and Ben k. Sure , a while ago, but it was mainly guys , everyone was into it and it was wicked dark techno with some melody here and there. Surely some of that edgy appeal has diminished as time goes by.
I miss enter. I saw Richie hawtin at cocorico in Italy just 3 days ago and he was outstanding !
Huge , interesting, overpowering, intense music.

My missus was there for the first time on thursday and the event blew her away. I guess if you've been there every year you might have different perceptions

Age of Love being played at 5 ish in the main room was a particular highlight for her.

It's still going to be the main night I work around every trip

THAT was this 90ies track, knew it sounded familiar. incredible vibe at that one, unbelievable, and hawtin and dubby laughing in the booth :)

Yea, you are probably right...I may have been a bit harsh. I only fronted at 4 so missed gaiser and matador

Now music on last night was a whole new level....seriously top notch in both rooms. I'll give enter another go next week..as I said I May have been harsh given I lost one ticket and then got my phone nicked so probably wasn't is the best frame of mind

Some interesting things here. Will write more when I have recovered from the week.... however.... Went last Thursday, and yeah, it was kind of missing something IMO compared to previous years. May have been me, but a few others said too. And I am saying this as a big Richie / ENTER fan. Did not like the crowd in the main room one bit... reminded of me of what MusicON was like first/last season...
