It's that time of the year again, here are my end of year awards!* Any one else wanna give theirs under it or comment on mine? I live on Dublin so some of my choices will be lost on alot of people on here, but sure everyone can just do it from their own point of view:
*
Tune of the year – Thug****er – Disco Gnome (Tale Of Us Mix)
Club of the year Ireland – The Pod
Club of the year International – DC10
One off night of the year – Carl Cox closing @ Space, Ibiza
All dayer/festival of the year – Mongo May Bank Holiday
Game Changer of the year – Seth Troxler & Jamie Jones back to back at DC10 – first time seeing both of them and they went straight to the top of my need to see again list
Excursion of the year – Glasgow for Inside Out closing at the Arches – great weekend from start to finish
Work horse of the year – Bryan Kearney – has basically done a world tour in the last year as well as establishing Kearnage Recordings as a reputable label
Comeback kid – Sasha – lost his way for a while in recent years, but back to his best now
Future Hero – Jamie Jones – big year for him in 2011, expect 2012 to be even bigger
Future Zero – Armin Van Buuren – needs to get back to basics instead of experimenting with this Trouse garbage
