i think early may is fine. who wants to be standing around in the heat in late may or early june. in early may all our hotels, restaurants and bars are open so people aren't missing out on anything by coming then.

exactly - mid-may is perfect.
and for my taste many more visitors are not neccessary -
because it´s already very crowded at peaktimes (evening/night).
