Eeek!

Becki, thats sooo true about doing a season in ibiza... it would mean I'd have to WORK.. I don't want to work in ibiza.. i just want fun !

I know, our friend who is working out there is soooooo skint. He made a bit of money by doing a few *ahem* errands for us, but he wasnt happy doing it. he said he cant go to some of the big nights he'd planned because he just cant afford it. He's been over there a month already, and apart from a few dj-ing gigs in the West End, he hasn't earned any money.

I kind of thought, at least when i go there and blow £500 in three days, I know I can come back and work and go again if I want, I wouldnt want to be out there and not be able to do everything I wanted :spank:

yeah I don't really want to be skint in ibiza - but then I have had friends that did ok just PRing for the right clubs - they got free entry to WLS for example, paid for circo loco every week and just missed most of the rest, and were able to go to everything they wanted pretty much, including the odd cocoon as a treat.

We'll see - I'll make a decision in may when I get back whether I want to go, then if i do just bugger off a few days later. I'm mainly worried about returning to london with no money...

WIll be saving like mad over the next couple of months and am considering borrowing cash to fund it - I'm still young and it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel properly. 8)

do it!!!! at the risk of sounding like an old granny, before you know it, it will be too late. make the most of travelling etc while you don't have commitments, and still have the stamina for season work.

in years to come, you will only regret the things you didn't do, never the things you did.

oh and wear sunscreen. :D

I agree. If you can afford it why not - its only an extra few months - you will have years left of your life to live but once you have a proper job again you definately wont be able to do a whole season!

Also if you thinking of doing either China or India and are travelling on your own then I would go for India - had a friend who did both and said that for travelling on your own India is way better in terms of meeting people, friendliness etc.

Sounds like an awesome yr though. Uber jealous
