My mate is doing research for her college course and has asked me to accompany her on a night out to help with some research - not thinking, I automatically said yes (friend in need and all that jazz.....) so she's just phoned me to confirm arrangements for picking me up tonight.....

we are only off to Gala Bingo.....

Never played Bingo before (other than kids bingo in a compendium of games box when i was a puppy)

Anyone been to "proper adult bingo" before - is there any tips or hints you can give me - apparently I need a "dabber".

Is this going to fun or really really monotonous.....

That'll teach me to give an immediate reply to someone without getting the full story

Its dead big in Dundee. Not that I've ever been myself. Wouldn't be seen dead in there!! And yeah you should really get a big bingo pen. You'll feel like a tube if you show up without the gear. Actually get two, one for each hand. Apparently old biddies will sit there with one in each hand dabbing away!

Right now I am scared - loads of old ladies with proper equipment!!! - apparently its also full of right chavs on a weekend too - and also you can get your head kicked in if you are a newcomer and you win!!! Eeeeeeek
