Echo on 1050 calls to the UK

A question for the Ibiza based ones amongst you. When calling the UK I seem to have an echo on the line, for the person the other end, when using the Auna 1050 dial out system. Is this usual or are their any other cheap call out plans to use.

It's quite common to have that echo in international phone calls, even with Telefonica

Yeah, but this is really bad. When I'm at the UK end it's almost impossible to have a conversation as your own voice comes back at you. It' like being interupted by yourself!

Is it the same when you phone with Telefonica?
