Anybody stayed in the Ebano in PDB yet this year? If so what did you think of the place?

Only 7 days to go!:D

Stayed in Ebano apts middle week of june 07 and if asked would I go back would certainly say 'yes'.

Good location, Staff friendly, rooms clean, you will enjoy it.

Cheers mate. We head out on Sunday and it can't go quick enough. We stayed in the Jabeque last year which is nearer Figueretas and apart from Bora Bora and Space we didn't really spend much time in PDB.

Do the rooms have air con as advertised? And any recommendations for eating in PDB? We mainly ate in Ibiza Town and Figueretas last year so apart from the odd recommendation we've had so far we are not quite sure where to get a decent bite to eat.

Hey, Stayed in the Ebano apartments in July 2005, really nice place clean and friendly, lots of families so it's not really lively at night but that's what the clubs are for!!

Happy holidays!:D

I'm there this weekend, stayed in 2005, clean and tidy and cheap as chips in an ideal location!

Hey Nails,

No problemo mate.

Yes the rooms had air conditioning installed. I actually never had to use it, you get quite a large covered balcony which keeps the sun away from the room somewhat.

We were in cancun last year and I think having the air con on at full blast made me ill so I try not to use it too much!!!

This was our first year [me and my girlfriend] in PDB any other year we have always stayed in san an.

I liked the vibe more in PDB but there IS a shortage of good quality restaurants. We had paella in Moorea which was quite good but did not eat at all in PDB apart from that and some new Italian, dont remember the name but was really average.... oh sorry we had breakfast EVERY morning in passion which is a brilliant way to start the day.

There seems like there are loads of bars in PDB but when it comes right down to it we struggled. Manoa was nice, but not 17 euro for two vodkas nice. Tantra was good, quite manic though.

But I think the bottom line is that you are 10Euro away from Ibiza town where there is a wealth of great bars and restaurants. Figueretas has great restaurants along the sea front too

We knew that when we booked to go to PDB it was more of a base to be closer to Ibiza town as every year in san an it seemed we were spending more and more time in amazing Ibiza town.

On this forum people either love or hate pdb or san an. I will stick my head above the parapet and say that san an has an awful lot more to offer in terms of both quality restaurants and quality bars than pdb BUT and this is a big but, Pdb has a FAR better atmosphere about it AND has space, in which sundays are the highlight of my holiday AND most importantly is a really nice walk away from Ibiza town where any right thinking person would want to be of an evening. In fact anyone who disagrees with what I have just said is not right thinking in the slightest !!!!!

We got a 7:35 wednesday morning flight out of belfast and with the help of the new motorway [although a total and utter eye sore !!] were at Ebano in around 5 minutes. seriously !! it was soooo good having a first day that was as close to a whole day as you are going to get.

Hope this helps mate, I am so jealous I wish I was doing it all again

Cheers Roger. We stayed in the Jabeque last year which is just down from Es Vive nearer Figueretas. We ate in PDB only twice in 2 weeks last year and We'll definitely be going back to Moorea. Somebody else had said there's a half decent italian called La Dolce Vita, maybe that's the one you were thinking of?

Sharam at Pacha on Friday is probably going to be the highlight for us although WLS is probably be the thing I'm looking forward to most

There's always next year.

Take it easy

Craig
