Hello there
I'm from Israel, going to stay at Manchester for two months - june and july, and leave to Ibiza from there on the 1st of August..
ok so a question for the brits here: which airport is closer to Manchester and is better to fly from in your opinion - Gatwick or Lutton ??

I will be getting to Ibiza on 1:15 am on 1/8.
my friends are coming day after me so I will be all alone in the island.. anyone here who's also coming on this date wanne meet up and go clubbing? :D

Why don't you fly from Manchester if you're going to be in Manchester :?

Luton will be about 2 1/2 hours drive from Manchester and Gatwick will be about 4 hours drive, whereas there is any actual airport in Manchester.
 
Easyjet don't fly from Manchester, closest airport they fly from is Liverpool. Thompson, Jet2 and others fly from Manchester.

but I checked with my travel agent and he says it's cheaper to fly from London, because a flight from Manchester to London will cost me only 18$.

So another question... which airport is closer to London Heathrow airport? Luton or Gatwick?

You making a bit of a mission out of getting to Ibiza from Manchester. I fly almost everywhere I go from Manchester, it's a bit international airport, and if you look through the cheap airline companies i.e Thompsonair, Jet2 etc I gaurentee you will find a cheap flight from Manchester to Ibiza. If you include costs of getting to each of the airports (travelling around London) and airport tax you will spend way more than you anticipate. I got a flight last year for £30 from Manchester to Ibiza, and I have found one for less than £20 including airport tax this year.
