easiest way to renew uk passport whilst here?

hi guys

my wife's passport has 6 months left on it, can we get a renewal via a courier/dedicated business here on this island, or do we send it straight to Madrid ourselves.

well not sure about that.you tired the british consulate.if not i guess you might be better getting a new sent via uk.recorded mail.but if you make a mistake on form.its gonna cost you.british consulate is best bet first.just need a new photo.
 
i'm afraid, wuddy, that it's a tad more complicated and expensive than a new photo. you can pick up the forms at the consulate in ibiza, but then you have to send everything off to madrid. i think it comes in at over 160 quid (or was it euros) to get it done.
 
wow you learn something on here.not as easy as its looks.might be worth it and cheaper to fly back to uk on a trip and do it i guess.visit a few friends.and book at passport office.

we are both resident in spain, which rules out a fly back, cheaper in the long run i guess to take the madrid option.
