Earthquake!

Just had a little mid day earthquake! 5.8 Magnitude about the epicenter was 100 miles south in Mineral VA. Thats a few miles away from the Lake Anna nuclear power plant! They felt it as far as New York. Crazyness. The whole building was rolling for 30 seconds...I don't know how they do it in California...

The quake was felt here in new Jersey, at first I thought it was a tornado because of the building swaying. I can't make a cell phone call or text anyone now. This is the first earth quake I ever felt on the east coast of the US.

felt it here in nyc! working on 8th floor , my chair starts sliding around the room! was very odd feeling

I felt in midtown Manhattan. Buildings near mine were being evacuated but we're fine.

I get back from a week out of touch and find out there's been an earthquake AND a hurricane back home

They found a crack in the Washington Monument and had pieces fall off the spires of the National Cathedral. Shocking!

Yes it was a rough week on the east coast. I only lost power for a couple of days so life is good.

Thats good to hearI spent alot of time in lynbrook some years ago im sure it took a battering from irene..

Thanks the storm was not as bad as predicted.
