Early September

I always read all these posts but have never posted here myself before! Finally it's time!

I usually go to Ibiza late September for the closing parties but have also been in August. All times Ibiza was ridiculously packed. This year we have had to book to go 2nd-10th September as it was the only time all 3 of us were available to go. I'm slightly worried it won't be that busy as it's the end of summer but before the flowing parties start. Has anyone been around this time before?

We are staying in San Antonio this time as well which I am worried about. I have always stayed in playa d'en bossa, but it's one of my friends first times in Ibiza and she wanted to stay in San Antonio. I'm worried! Hopefully it won't be too bad! Lots of expensive taxi journeys to be made though.

so you would like it to be packed on the beach bus bars clubs then.sure there is going to be people out there and busy after midnight.get the disco bus to clubs cheaper option.

I've been a few times the beginning of September and never really noticed it being quiet. still plenty of people around and a good atmosphere

I post the same thing every-time someone asks this, but 5-15 of September (or near enough) it is my FAV time of the year! The island is less busy, but the parties are even better.

BUT it all depends what type of music you like. Just look at the calender. By September the kids have mostly gone and hence the Ushuaia-EDM parties are all over. So if you like Hardwell etc and all that pop stuff you may prefer August.

The more underground / tech / techno line-ups are often better than they are in August IMO e.g. DC10, Cocoon etc will throw even better parties. The workers get more relaxed as the end is in sight and the August crowds have gone, it's slightly cooler and well just better. Also a lot of "spectators" i.e. people in DC10 who just stand there because they think they have to be there are all gone, and everyone is just more up for it.

I find San An much more relaxed as all the kids have gone home.

Love going at that time of year! You'll have no worries!

And most of all I love the weather! Yes, I know the chances of rain increases, but I get my best tan in September as it is 25+ and I can sit out in it all day.

Ric, any idea on what date that is?

Me and my mate going from 3rd - 17th September.

Staying in San An Bay.

Also any other must dos around that time would help!

Thanks!

Best time of year to go! I’ve been going in Sept for years and prefer it to the madness of July and August. I like the fact that I can actually dance in the clubs, rather than being shoulder to shoulder, packed in like sardines. The vibe is good also, and a lot less kids around as they would have all gone back to school/college/uni
You’ll have a great time, it’s Ibiza at the end of the day and everyone is always up for a good time – enjoy :)

Cocoon on 8th September should be good!!

Going 5th till 15th. First , and prob last time due to getting on a abit, in 8yrs. Looking forward. If anyone can recommend any good night / beach partied over that time plz shout up. It would be much appreciated..

It will still be busy & the good thing is all the younger ones have flown home so the island has a nice laid back vibe to it. Weather is still good although chance of rain is slightly higher but temperature wise, much more bearable to late July / Aug.

You can usually get moved better in the clubs though some nights can be busier than others. I wouldn't go any other time now, getting older and don't want to spend my holiday alongside young college kids there just to say they've been to Ibiza!

Went 8th - 15th last year, going same dates this year. Seemed quiet on the streets but I think that's just because I was expecting it to be busier that it was. Plenty of people saying it was still busy and getting busier as closing parties approached.

Clubs were rammed, some more than others. Room to move in places like Eden and Pacha, but almost dangerously overcrowded in the terrace at Amensia, it was actually quite scary.

Some kids still there, but I only really saw them on the Tuesday for Together. My idea of hell but one of my mates isn't really into dance music and likes the shite Radio 1 played at the time, so we agreed to go, only fair. Turns out it was full of kids, I imagine just about to start uni, who'd come to Ibiza by mistake, realised with horror that house music didn't appeal to them, and went to the only night on the island with names they recognised!

This thread makes sept Sounds like an ideal time to go. . . So me and the wife (both 32) have booked up. Heading over on 3rd for 9 nights. Any suggestions on must do's? Either clubbing or day time partying!

Obviously depends what you like but Enter at Space is looking good , or perhaps Diynamic outdoor party , both on the thursday. Check out Bar No Name the little shack up the end of pdb it seems to have good partied gping on most days.
