Early July in Ibiza..

How is it? I have already asked a couple people and they say it's great.

IF I go this year (and I guess I need to book soon) I can only go at the beginning of July for maybe a week.

I've only ever gone in September, at the end of September and I went once in August, peak season.

Is it a young, young crowd in July?

I'm thinking Enter opening, Coxy opening... I love Cristian Varela and see he has his own night now ( I think??)

What else?

For once, I'm going to try not to overdo it the first few nights so I can enjoy my whole trip.

What is good about the beginning of July? What is not good?

i can't find anything bad going at the start of july. the weather's normally very stable & hot. it's very busy yet still bearable. the mix of nationalities is still decent. all the parties are up & running by then (or just start in case of enter and coxy). the crowd might be a tad younger then compared to the closing crowd you're used to, but don't worry about this.
 
Been going for years and really the best time. Not crowded yet, but animated.
Drink prices/club entrance are a bit lower than in august or openings/closings.
Restaurants/bars are not too crowded.

I think, last time I did closings, it was cocoon closing. It was raining cats and dogs.
And we were packed like sardines in the terrace.

Varela has been running his Pornographic night at Eden for a couple of seasons but I understand he has another night at Amenesia I think? Unsure of if the Eden night has stopped mind? I went last July in fact and was dissapointed he didn't really bang it out but Marco Bailey came on after and was the antithesis to his set! Smashed the hell out of it 8)

Agreed, i went last year 7th july and it was busy but not stupidly so that you almost felt claustrophobic. Im heading out this year on the 12th and im hoping for more of the same! Male to female ratios werent bad either :twisted:
 
glad to see that there are non spanish fan of Cristian Valera

his party mixed with supermartxe is for me the best big club party of this summer
 
Good to hear this stuff.. Going in first 2 weeks of July (starting the clubbing week with Carl's opening night too) also and do NOT want the kind of zoo that occurs in the first two weeks of August. That's a goddam sardine fest in scorching weather. Every night is just a zoo at that time.
