my dilema is that i have a raging ear infection. it foes feel much better now, (tues i was punchin the walls in the hospital waitin to be seen! :( ) still tends to hurt most during middle of night. so i am on numerous drugs, antibiotics and painkillers and i'm under house arrest as not supposed to get ear cold. problem is i have a night out coming up on sat which i have been lucking forward to for ages as haven't been out in ages! come tomorrow night i will have nearly completed my course of antibiotics so hopefully should be feeling better. i know i should prob stay in but really dont want to! any advice if i do go out. bearing in mind im on pain killers that make me drowsy and increase the effects of alcohol if i have any. im also imagining it's not a great idea to take any other non prescription drugs mixed with the others? i know the best thing to do would be stay in but i feel like stamping my feet and saying 'its not fair!'

wear earmuffs out to keep the ear warm

"have it" incredibly hard

take monday off as the pain in your ear becomes unbearable and a slow trickle of pus makes you look disgusting

as long as the music is good it'll be worth it

tell us what the night is and we'll use our unbiased critcal opinion  to assess whether it is worth the week of pain you wil undoubtedly suffer afterwards

since you've got the week off go for it, have a great night and think about the pain afterwards. If you've not been out for ages... :P
