I am coming back to UK from Ibiza via Dublin. Is there a big € difference or not really on booze, smokes and aftershave in duty free shopping in Ibiza or Dublin.

I never find it that good tbh. However, I did buy smokes for someone a couple of weeks ago and it was about 50e for 200 but I don't smoke so couldn't really tell if that's any good. Would have thought it would be cheaper to buy your booze on the island and chuck it in your case, assuming you have one and aren't just travelling with hand luggage.
 
Only got hand luggage. Smokes for me dad. Booze for a woman at work. I have never done connecting flights with just hand luggage so very wet behind the ears on this.
 
HA! You would've been right if it was ANY other women in the office but this one wants 2 bottles Smirnoff. I feel getting her 2 miniature bottles.
 
Didnt buy hierbas bottles as i have enough in my stock but only chorizo, m&m wavefans 8€ each for kids (6) & cigarettes 50€ a box still cheaper than 75€ (got a friend working as hostess in planes but don"t hang out anymore with..cigarettes at 20€ 100 ones wworth (a way to speak as no tobacoo is the answer to savem oney & health :D))

i guess next ibz trip ill buy the big M&M toy (plane or other toy i forgot the shape) for a kid (i can't buy 6 big toys ) & always 2 box cigarettes to friend...

No, i just remember ushuaia closing 16, having drinking too much hierbas shots and i brought a small piece of chorizon in my pocket & staff didnt saw it..but ill think about it for ibz 18 , some slice of Chorizo in a bag & hidden in safe pockets :D
 
Why bother with duty free? If you buy duty free there's a limit what you can bring back.
If you buy Drink or tobacco which is much cheaper in Ibiza and keep the receipt, technically you can bring as much as you want once it's for your own consumption as the duty has been paid within an EU country.
 
But your smokes at a Tabbac, Normally cheaper than duty free, You can take as many as you want as long as they are for personal use or "gifts", You will have to wait untill in duty free for Drink as any liquid over 100ml will get taken by security, As it is only hand luggage you may want to also check at the boarding gate first if you can take it on or they will put in hold, Some will not and confiscate at gate,,,,,,,,,

Cigs and Baccy are quite cheap via Thomas cooks airshoppen programme - u order online, and they get delivered to u on the plane. Either inbound or outbound.
 
Was in Ibiza airport 'duty free' Saturday afternoon, looking for the usual; standard Spanish brandy: Soberano, Veterano, Fundador, etc. Also, Larios gin, nothing there, what's going on? There was somewhere to taste a lot of fancy designer* gins, but obviously nobody doing the testings/tastings. There were a lot of places for the hierbas and related drinks. Just seems odd that no usuals available? info even by pm welcome.....
