Does Ibiza exist in a higher dimension ?

I have been browsing for long-term apartments on iberpisos and idealista and sent messages through to the respective advertisers

However I have not received a response from any of them and I am about ready to abort the mission

I sent each message in English, Spanish and Catalan offering to pay a year up front

Do they naturally take ages to respond or I am doing something wrong ?
 
In my Opinion, Ibiza in some parts, is about 10 years behind on the whole online, internet revolution.

Steve Jobs would be unknown to many over 50.

The ex pats are much sharper on eCommerce, online and social media, so are the younger generation of Ibicencos.

But I dont think it worries them too much......and maybe they are right. Ibiza is far from instant but imo, thats one of her most alluring charms.
 
Following the above advice I found an established estate agent on facebook

I selected a nicely furnished apartment based on pictures he sent over and paid a months' rent as a holding deposit

A few weeks later I paid a full years' rent then promptly flew down end of February and was put into a different apartment that was smaller and very poorly furnished

If anyone here has any apartments then I may be able to move the money over to a different option

But at this late stage it's doubtful that will happen

Anyone moving to Ibiza - don't hand over any money based on pure trust

can you give the initials of this bloke ?
is it the one who is spamming everywhere with appartments/villas/etc ??
 
I could share some Monty Python-esque stories about the time I spent down there recently

As Robert J. Hanlon said: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity

But I want to try and move forward so if anyone has any apartments post here and I will get in touch
