My/Our Holiday Opinion:

We booked our 18-30 holiday in January and got a great deal, esp as it was bed and breakfast so we got a 3rd adult reduction and no under occupancy. Ive been to Ibiza before so knew that low cost accomodation was going to be basic and not the Hilton!

When we arrived at the accomodation we were all shattered as it was a typical Ibiza night flight, We basically checked in, reasonably quickly and went to our rooms. Personally I thought the rooms were lovely for the price, they were clean, comfortable and had a decent sized balcony.

We never bothered goin to the welcome meeting as we didnt want to be conned into the 18-30 activites and excursions! So we all went to the pool instead which was a great size and clean. It was bed and breakfast but we never got up for breakfast or went across the road for a fry up! The staff at the hotel were fab, they were really nice and seemed to work dead long hours but never got annoyed with the massive groups of 20 somethings they had. The snack bar had recently been refurbished and had really nice food at a good price. The drinks werent dear either and we were getting cans of san miguel from the vending machine in the lobby for a euro.

The hotel was up a slight hill about 10-15 mins walk from san antonio, its a decent walk tho with pubs n stuff on the way so never felt far. Only thing I would say about the location was at night there was a horrible smell of sewage and as there was no air conditioning we had to leave the balcony door open which was a bit rank!! You could hire fans to cool down a bit but we always forgot to do this!

Overall We had a great holiday, staff were great, nice pool area that never had millions of eejits playing pool games or that, good food n drink and comfy rooms :o)

Hope this helps!!

thanks

thanks for your help people. i was really worried when i couldnt find anything on it.
another question is how exactly does this whole 18-30 thing work?

oh dear...

it works by getting as much money out of you as possible and getting you as drunk as possible and taking as much of your dignity as possible.

that's not the companies official line of course, but thats how its generally perceived.

if you can help it, dont go to their welcome meeting, try and do things on your own, and tell them that you'd rather discover the island on your own, they're a bit of a rip off :D

I went to the Apolo with 18-30 once years ago cause it was only about 38p for the whole holiday.

My friends and i spent the two weeks making the reps hate us. We wouldnt do any of their things and in the end managed to get loads of the other people there to come out with us day and night and ignore all the 18-30 reps. Haha.

The reps really were a bunch of clueless, stupid, sumbags. There was one guy who was really nice but all the other reps hated him and tried to make everything hard for him just cause he was friendly and honest to all the holiday makers and didnt try to rip them off

The hotel was ok. It was clean and the pool was always clean too.

I even had change for chips and fizzy pop on the way back from the travel agent :D
