Does anyone else here live anywhere boring?

I see people's weekend rundowns.. and realise that I really am living in dullsville.. There aren't even any options of that sort where I live, even though its in a city of nearly around a million!

Does anyone else read this and live somewhere boring too? where there is NOTHINg going on :?

This is why my yearly fix in ibiza is mandatory now.. or maybe i should just move..
 
I can officially say that I live in one of the most boring places in britain, beautiful, but boring.

All 'clubs' play chav dance music and any disco kinda bars play 80's cheesy tunes, which are fine if you're in the mood for a bit of cheese, but otherwise are just poo.

Lovely part of the country though, south west scotland! :D
 
Agreed,most of the 'clubs' around here are of the 'ladies' night variety, where the crowd goes wild when the ABBA-Grease-destiny's child hits the dance floor.

I fail to understand in a city of this size, why there isn't at least ONE or TWO places to even go and have a nice drink :( (See I'm not even asking for a club.. just a place to go out!)
 
do it yourself... you've indentified a niche. I'll bet theres at least enough people in that big town of yours thinking the same thing.

I invited couple of friends over the other night and was trying to get the groove going.. and they said, "We brought monopoly!"

I said, " I was thinking of something more active than that"

and they said, "What about charades?"
 
i used to live in a relatively little city called turku in finland and although the nightlife was a bit quiet we kept ourselves entertained. i'm still quite happy i moved away though :lol:

I went to Broad Street a few back for a quiet drink with a friend and his gf and i went to the toilet and it was then that decided that im never going to go out on Broad Street again.

So many hen nights and b'day girls dropping glasses in toilet cubicles being mouthy to their friends looking after them.

Saying '' Im going to get rat arsed because it my b'day''
