we lived in an amazing apartment at the top of these stairs for five weeks in 2000, on the street c/Sant Carles.
And DJ legend Alfredo was a close neighbour, think he lived on c/Sant Lluis though I think I saw his apartment for sale on my last visit.
We used to have a family of gypsies living directly below us. Managed to get the place (owned by Torre del Cañonigo no less) for a cheap rent (it was May) but then they sent in the builders in house below after a few days and it wasn't such a bargain !

If you had walked up those steps on the 13th of April this year and looked to your left you would have seen this street party.......... where on the island is this?:
