dodgy tickets

Whilst in the queue waiting for info on the Pacha free bus, I overheard two boys asking the ticket seller where they´d have to go to get it. He took one look at their tickets and said ´no good´. They looked blankly at him. Apparently, a girl at their hotel sold them these tickets, they were valid...but were for an event TWO weeks away 8O

So either check real carefully before parting with money, or only buy from dedicated outlets.:!:

Something similar happened to us this year in June.

Me and my pals were actually sold Fake tickets to a night at Eden by the rep at Plastik bar in The West end, right out the front of the bar!8O

She gave us a decent discount and when we questioned the authenticity she assured us that "of course they are real, I am a rep for Plastik.....I would be foolish to sell fakes etc. etc."

We then walked round the corner and had them checked by one of the official Eden workers who told us that they were meaningless bits of paper. He then drew our attention to a tiny print in the bottom corner of the tickets that said That they were promotional flyers only and in no way were they tickets!:spank:

We obviously stormed back there and had a bit of a pop at the rep who said I better get my manager. A guy who I assume was the boss came out and said "these tickets are not fake, but I'll give you your money back anyway" Sensing that he had been rumbled he had re-imbursed us within seconds and disappeared back into the bar (amongst a torrent of insults from us I might add! ;) )

All I can say is Caveat emptor!

Thise fakes cost us 30 euros per head so it was a good job we got our money back!
