Do you need licence for Moped ??

Your own national licence will be ok for a moped,however anything over 50cc requires a motorcycle licence.
If you are hiring insurance will be included.

it's a bit of strange one this.

if you have had a full UK licence for over 3 years, you can ride up to 125cc in spain.

in the UK you'd need a bike licence.

i've been stopped by the guardia loads and it's cool.

insurance is normally always included.
 
I keep hearing different reports about licence required for a moped.

I know a full car driving licence is good but do you need a full motorcycle licence or would CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) for a moped (50cc) obtained in the UK enough?
 
I did actually read the related page on Spotlight but kept finding contrasting reports about it
So, it's clear if not in possession of a valid car driving licence only a "full" motorbike licence will do.
