You really do determine whats played on the station, when live DJ's are not broadcasting you can select and vote on whats played on the 6 stream Genre's.
Comment on DJ's mixes and profiles.

For the DJs

Mix Uploading and Hosting for those Dj's that cant commit to playing Live 1.5GB of storage (although we do prefer the live variety)
Mix downloads and on demand streaming of your mixes.
Gain feedback and have your mixes voted for inclusion onto our 24/7 streams.
Interact with the people you are trying to showcase your skills to.
Broadcast your own show live on TransmissionFM for free.

so there you have it, so the doors have been thrown right open to all Dj's Live or Not.
Obviously Live DJ's will take preference on the schedule, but all DJ's will have free hosting for their mixes and will have it played on air.

What is TransmissionFM?

TransmissionFM is a free public radio promotional service that brings you club music from around the globe. We have live DJs that play many styles of EDM. The music ranges from Breaks, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop, House, Trance, and Techno. Many of our DJs have experience in performing in clubs, parties, raves and concerts. We also provide a totally interconnected hosting service that works with our 6 genre streams. This means any dj hosted on the site has the ability for their mixes to be heard in three ways. Either through downloads, on demand or being voted for playback on one of our 6 genre streams that broadcasts 24/7.

we are getting a great spread of Spotlight Dj's now, thanks guys for your interest, and if anyone knows any Breaks dj's as we are really slow on that stream.

we run 24 hrs a day so have a few slots on every stream......no matter what you play we can accomodate you in some fashion.

Would like to get some more experience, but I probably couldn't commit to playing every week. Hope it goes well though :)
 
Ok to clear this up as ive had a few people ask. you dont have to do a weekly show, can be bi weekly, monthly....you choose.

as for recorded sets they will be subject to rating and the highest rated mixes get played when the dj's arent live, people can download them, listen via the on demand player etc.

When I click on your link, it takes me to your website, but says that page cannot be found. I guess there's a problem with it, or am I doing something wrong?
 
ahh yeah sorry my mistake you have to be logged into the site to get that page....still finding my feet with the new features....if you log in to the site, and go to messages it has the info in there
