DJing in Ibiza

Hi,

I'm a house DJ from Scotland and was thinking about taking my records out this year to see if I could get some work. Anyone know of anywhere/anyone who could help me?

there was something on Ibiza uncovered which I remember watching, whereby dj's could go to a record shop in San An (think it was on the corner of the west end) and they had a dj comp after the shop shut late at night and you could play off against other dj's - could try there..... you never know who's listening....
 
That was plastik last year. They did a dj comp every fri night and the winner would play a set in the back room at eden that night (Euphoria). Best advice I could give you would be to go out there early ie early may if not late apr and just do your best. Most clubs and bars have established residents and it'll be difficult getting anywhere. It'll always help if you dj in the UK though.

Give it a go but don't expect anything, it IS hard work especially as a ressie as you'll prob be working 7 nights a week all season but good luck to you.
