My name is Greg and I am a 26 year old professional dj from Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.
For four years I have been djing in Glasgow, however I am in need of a change, and have come to the conclusion that I would love to visit Ibiza between May 08 and Sept 08. I would be extremely interested in djing in Ibiza over the summer.
In Glasgow I currently hold 4 residencies, vodka revolution bar, stavka bar, garage nightclub with a capacity of 1800, and the tunnel nightclub with a capacity of 1000, all within the city centre.
My style of music I prefer to play is house/funky house/deep house/electro and electro house. I can play a main room set, or lounge set for a quieter environment. My influences include Ron Carroll, Martin Solveig, Frankie Knuckles and Copyright.
I currently have a website, www.djgregm.co.uk, where you can download my latest mixes, recent charts, residencies and biography listing the various gigs I have performed out with my current residencies.
I am wondering if anyone on the forum has any information on djing in Ibiza for the season. I am particularly interested in the availability of gigs, the best way to go about getting gigs, pay and email address/telephone numbers/website address of promoters, clubs, dj agencies who could help me aquire shifts for summer 08.
I am aware that this is every dj's dream to dj in Ibiza, however I would appreciate any information that people can send my way.
