DJ Mag Party @ Space

Hey,

I am going to be staying in PDB for the Jubilee Weekend and wanted to see if anyone had been to the DJ Mag Party at Space in previous years? Really wanted to find out what kind of music and if it's worth going to.

musically, tough to say currently as the line up has not been released (as far as i know).

I think in previous years, the DJMag party has not been all that busy.

It falls on the couple of strange Sundays after the Space opening party but before We Love takes control on Sundays
 
thanks for that. I was gonna pre book tickets, but think i will just play by ear instead. Can I ask your advice re another night???? Am arriving on Wednesday 30th and go home Tuesday 5th so just trying to plan the weekend. Thursday is the opening of Kehakuma at Space and also Monza at Sankeys- which would you recommend the most?

Hi. We done the DJ Mag party last year and didn't pay so if you do go don't pre book tickets, plenty of people handing out flyers with free entry/drink etc.

As someone said above, it wasn't packed so they didn't open the whole club but was still a good night, worth attending for free.

When I went back in Sep last year I went to Kehakuma and it was a wicked night, the club was packed with a great atmosphere, well worth going.

Never been to Sankeys so can't comment on that I'm afraid.

if your into your underground house/ techno then both kehakuma and monza will be right up your street.
 
Yep, definetely want some underground house. Been to space loads the last few years so think I am gonna give sankeys a go. Nope not there for the wedding....What parties are you planning? We were thinking Monza on the Thursday, we are staying at the ushaiua, so sexy chic sat followed by defected, djmag sunday and Circo Loco on Monday. what do you recon? :):):)

will be there from wednesday evening through till the next tuesday, agree its a bit of an odd weekend inbetween many of the openings the week before and we love the week after.. obviously we have allot of wedding celebrations so wont be hitting the clubs hard this time around, at a guess i was hoping to do space for dj mag on the sunday depending on who plays.. have had too many times going in there on a freebie pass only to find it dull and boring to be honest... dc10 on monday and then maybe pop over and see what Tiesto's doing in pacha... curiosty killed the cat and all that...

sankys should be quite good. heard good things last year although it wasnt busy on allot of the night those that went seemed to enjoy themselves...

we are going exactly the same days as you. What a nice place to go for a wedding!

cool thanks for you advice. Think if i had more time i would try out Sankeys but i recon im ginna go to Kehakuma that night instead- didnt realise Ritchie Hawtin was moving over! Not sure on the DJ mag party now... think i will give that one a miss and save myself for a big one at Circo Loco ( haha i am showing my age now!)
