Digital Camera....

okies thanks, i think optical zoom is something id miss if i got this camera.

Purhapse some of you guys could suggest some pretty good cameras, i dont have any big specifications, only that i dont want it to big, and would like to have a 2" LCD screen.

On a tight budget, about £100 or so, could be a bit pushed hey?

panasonic d snap sv-as3
canon powershot A510


anything less, u may as well get a camera phone ;)
 
I've got a Canon Ixus i which was the smallest reasonable priced camera I could find (£140 at the time and a Best Buy in Which magazine) as I never could to be arsed carrying my old 35mm around on holliday. There's no view finder or optical zoom to keep the size down to the size of a mobile phone but I've only missed optical zoom about once. I was genuinley surprised at how good the pictures wereIf you just want normal holiday snaps don't worry about zoom.

Sorry but I can't actually remember what point I was trying to make. I assume it was about optical zoom or something. Christ, happens all the time these days! :oops:
 
:lol: cheers fox, but i think optical zoom would be an issue when taking pics of djs which are 9 times outta 10 @ a fair distance!
