Diets...

You know if you start a diet... how long does it take for the results to start to show? I started my diet about a week and a half ago, weighed myself today and no change. But I've totally cut out some of the unhealthy foods I used to eat, and am only eating wholemeal carbs now not white ones.
I thought I'd be at least 8stone by now (;) )... whats going wrong :cry:
 
Are you exercising too? If so you won't loose so much weight at first because you are turning your fat into muscle.

You shouldn't use weight as a guide. Use body fat instead.

If you are losing fat but gaining muscle (if you're working out that is) your weight could actually increase as muscle weighs a lot more than fat.

also if you drastically cut your calorie intake your body just goes into conserve mode and lowers your metabolism, so you might even get fatter :lol:
 
My diet has so far consisted of danone activia yoghurts and water tablets - its not working and is causing a lot of wind!:roll:

I just need to get the weight off my tummy - it looks like a pregnancy bump!:oops:

Did I tell you about the time I did that horrid cabbage soup diet - I followed the diet to the letter until day 4 or 5, weighed myself that morning - gutted hadn't lose a pound, then the next day and night was the one where you eat huge amounts of chicken and tomatoes - and I did, I went to bed that night, got up in the morning and thought to myself as I looked in the mirror "F*** you look thin" - went and weighed myself and I kid you not - I had lost 9lbs overnight - now how the hell did that work?? I lost 11lbs in a week - I felt like sh1t afterwards and nearly passed out on my first night out :lol: :lol: :lol:

Its a long way down from the Penthouse Suite tho - how are your dexterity skills?? (.....also a very long way from Oxford - would you get there in time if he chucked small baby from the top :?

Well - it takes about two and a bit hours to get from mine to robders door to door lets say, robder lives approximately 17 miles above ground in the penthouse (higher than all other penthouses I've heard), and because the baby will be constantly dressed in revealing and sparkly lingerie that should mean it'll take 2 hrs and 17 minutes to fall to the ground as magpies circling the bunker will keep it aloft as they attempt to remove the sparkly bits.

It should be fine. Stop your worrying :roll: (you mad dog lady :lol: )
 
Try this:

If you’re wanting to burn fat, eat high protein, low fat, and low carb, and watch your calories. 30 minutes to 1 hour of cardio exercise 3-4 days a week will do wonders.
