because I haven't read ONE good review !!
Surely iy can't have been that bad ? :?

for me, I g8o clubbing for the music, manumission is too much of a circus for me, but it depends what you want...its worth trying if you have never been

I've been several times , just not this year yet. I've always had a good time and always look forward to it but I guess i'll have to wait and see myself what its like this year.

i go every year and love it. best thing to do is dont go with other peoples peceptions about the place. go and see for yourself give the place a change and you wont have a bad night

First time I went I was blown away but subsequent visits have shown that very little changes in the main room. If someone who had never been before asked me should they go I would say it's essential but if you've already been, take it or leave it. Having said that there are some great bands scheduled for the Music Box this year so it might be worthwhile for that alone.

Nope, I didn't. And I won't be going again for a few years at least. I'd never say never though. ;)

I was at the opening night and it was the biggest pile of doo-doo I've ever been to in my life and by far my worst ever clubbing experience. The music in the main room was abysmal (very poor funky house), the air-conditioning was woefully inadequate, there seemed to be well over 12,000 people in there, it took me well over half an hour to get from the dome to the toilets and back, and it cost 18 Euro's for a bottle of water and a can of Red Bull (about 12 quid). And yet, when I went for the first time in 1998 it was brilliant!

I went a couple of years ago and it's an experience, but it was my least favourite night that year (despite Fatboy Slim in the main). Just too too crowded and as others have said, more of a circus than a club..!

However, you have to go at least once, if only to see the true size of Privilege, mind boggling!

I went yesteryear. To me, everything is fun (Ok, maybe not being dragged out into the middle of a forest, beaten, stripped naked, sodomized, tied to a tree and covered in honey so that fire ants will eat me alive) and I enjoyed it. Drink enough, and you'll enjoy anything :D

Manumission sucked (19.7)

I totally agree that one! It was the first and definitely last time in Manumission. The place was overcrowded of people just standing on the dancefloor staring at the "amazing show". Yeah right! The show wasn't anything I expected beforehand and also music was bad enough. Moreover, bartenders were rude and just asking tip all the time with stupid smile on their faces. I could expect that one of the most famous and biggest club in the world would have even a bit more well-behaved staff who don't just snort and ask tip all the time.

However, I really enjoyed my two weeks holiday in Ibiza and every other night in other better clubs. ;)

We went to Manumission last year and it was the worst night of the holiday. We definitely won't be going back when we return to Ibzia this year!

Didn't like the music, the venue (Too much traffic - couldn't get around easily) and the 'entertainment' wasn't that entertaining! :P

YUp was my worst nite of my holiday too.. too much of a show and the music was the same threw out every room just a constant banging.. no change wot so ever so i left about 5am was r8 bored... every one jsut staring up @ the stage.. when all i wanted was some gudmusic to dance too and not much people were even dancing... was a real let down!! i mean eden was better than that.. and thats saying something!!!

I had a good time even tho I hate Privilege and musically I would have rather seen Sanchez or Sven Vath on the same night. Would I go back? Probably not. But I still had a good time ;)

My first time in Ibiza - went to Manumission on Monday 19th July. First impressions upon entering were good. amazing club, great size, good sound system. But after a couple of hours it got boring, the music was really pants, the atmosphere wasn't really all that good either. Seemed expensive for what it was (€45). Wouldn't go again i dont think!
