I like a driving yet uplifting/sexy/funky sound. A popular record that captures this is "Linus - Loves The Terrace" (not the vocal versions). Other examples of the sound are the Lawler terrace sets, old Subliminal (e.g. Sub Sessions 1) or Italian house...

Very similar taste to me mate when I'm listening to house. Linus Loves was one of my favourites from last year, quality tune :P

Do prefer the tougher beats, but anything from funky, through US, through tech and even some prog.

:D

dirty basslines with pumping beats, some nice melodic 'breakdowns' and erie vocals.

thankyou please.

thumping, dirty, dark, baseline 8) 8) with lots of squelches :? & nauseating noises  8O  8O leading to an emotive, unexpected big room breakdown :D  :D , then straight back to buisness 8)

ok then!

Filthy electro sounds and phat beats.

BUT!!!

More that anything- I f***ING LOVE FILTERS!!! :P :P

Pure funk n rhythm.....anything with loadsa soul and feeling. 8)

From hard rolling beats to twisted funky basslines with maybe the odd bit of filters thrown in. Im also diggin and always have breakbeats and cool hip hop style vox. 8) 8) 8)

Yes Man him wicked :P

anything with a beat, quite like it dark, quite like it fast, quite like it tribal, quite like it progressive, but not happy bouncey sounding. and I like trance.

1- I like mainly dark beats, semi-gothic if possible, extremely deep and low bass that just the best sound systems resist with no reverberation or without missing them. E.g:
The best example: a great sombre house tune of 2001: Slam feat. Tyrone 'Visionary' Palmer - Lifetimes (Original Mix)
Other great tunes:
Sucker DJ's - It's Gotta Be (Original Mix)
Wackside feat. Chic - Le Freak (Montilla Remix)

2- Moreover tribal beats (mainly dark tribal), and balearic sounds mixing caribbean rhythms with house.

3 - Plus every type of techno as long as it doesn't get monotonous and boring and not too fast.

4 - EBM (electronic body music or industrial dance).

In addition to all, I like a lil' progressive (just good one like Digweed's) and trance-ish sounds but just in very roomy places (and without lots of kids).

Can't stand much of vocal house and commonly played anthems that I've heard much (I use to end hating tunes like E Samba, At Night, or the Just A Little More Love).

heavy drum and base baselines

for what i mean check out a tune call grimy.

the heavier the b-line the better.

cow bells!!!!!!! i love live percussion!!!!!

another sound that hits the spot is the vocal in alex braxes intro!!!!!!
