Dennis Ferrer kicked off the decks in Miami

Allegedly, behrouz was due to play there until they rang him up beforehand and asked him to play commercial. Shortly after he cancelled his gig.

Miami is a different place now. i was there some years ago visiting friends when Groovejet and shadow lounge were the main clubs and still very underground.great vibes and mix of people all there for the right reasons.my friend steven is part of the DHM crew and they put on some great nights all year.http://snd.sc/A4oXgW a mix by them.:D

I hate to say this but in the USA the clubs play radio/commercial crap because that is what people know and want:spank:

Last time I was a Mansion they had Junior Vascquez slamming some seriously heavy tribal
(it was a gay night. Lots of Muscle Mary's stripping of their shirts and really getting into it )

I think Sander Kleinenberg, was escorted off the decks couple of years ago (2009?) at the same venue

I read about Steve Lawler a few years ago refusing to play a gig in Miami unless they took out half of the v.i.p / bottle service tables as they were taking up too much space

I agree with this, especially the bit about the majority of people liking what they are told to like :!: ... Miami club owners should listen and learn - it is they and their kind who are contributing to perpetuating the popularity of trash electronic music :
