Del Mar Studios - Is it really that bad?

When i booked my holiday i was in a bit of a rush so i booked it only reading a couple of reviews of the hotel.

Since i have booked it i have looked into it a bit more and i have read some terrible reviews. I was just wondering if anyone has stayed at this hotel, is it really that bad or is it just people being fussy? I'm not expecting no Hilton but i don't want my stuff to be stolen, i know its gonna be noisy, its 18-30, what do you expect?

Is it safe to leave my money in the safety deposit box? I don't fancy leaving it in my room after reading about people's suitcases getting slashed open, i would rather leave my suitcase unlocked with nothing in it..

The reports aren't good I'm afraid but all 18-30 hotels are poor standard and usually 1-2 stars at the most.

ALWAYS check the hotel out online before booking your holiday...
