Stayed there in 2004 for a week, didnt have any problems. Its an 18-30s place so expect it to be full of northern chavs 
but walk out the front door and you're right on the harbour. On the left you have the West End about 30 seconds away, a bit further along Eden and Es-paridis, and on the right you have Cafe del mar, Mambo, savannagh etc. One of the best located in San An I think (for ease of getting to places and home anyway.)
Rooms are typical 18-30s, nothing special but they do have VERY good air-con. We came back some nights (mornings) put the air-con and fell asleep. Woke up a couple of hours later literally freezing to death.....good stuff
Pool is small and overcast by the apartments themselves (who stays by the pool anyway) Staff were pretty friendly and cleaned the rooms well.
I recommend the German cocktail bar right infront of the place called 'Pussycat' for some pre drinks. They do the best cocktails, huge litre glass boots full of **** and the waitress's are all FIT !
