Can't beleive none of you have reviewed this yet. or did was it only released today? :?

Anyway - my review so far is only of the first 3 tracks....as i only bought it half and hour ago ;) but so far....classy.

I posted a review of it back in May cos I got a promo given to me when they played Ministry ;)

Was very impressed, probably my favourite Defected in the House so far :D

No seriously this is my fave one :lol: but then Louie and Kenny can do no wrong in my eyes :lol:

It's a perfect CD for summer I thought :D

I am looking forward to this Defected release too.

Going to get myself a copy tomorrow.

Im still like the last Defected Evissa one too

My copy has now arrived. Have to say do prefer it to Evissa. Both quality though.
 
i found the evissa one very dissapointing, compared to the delights of di mitri from paris and kenny dope editions.
 
ok - have listened to it all now....and i have to say that it doesn't get to where i expected it to until track 7 on cd 2.

Most of cd 1 i found promised a lot but didn't quite deliver and the first 6 tracks of cd 2 are much the same....the music wanders around in no particular direction (all well mixed, i am sure, with accapella's etc) with some strange track choices......Only after all this mixed up stuff do you get to the real meat of it and the soulful house sound that originally expected to hear crops up - from here on in its great...but its a bit too little too late in my opinion. I really wanted every track to be a belter...but its just not so.

Promised a lot - but i have to say i'm a bit disapointed. On having bought most of the in the house collections i can unfortunately say that its not the first time i've been disapointed - i thought Dimitri and Eivissa were poor too. :( Maybe its just me :?

rest have been good....but nothing has come close to the Junior Jack kid Creme mix. :D

I kind of get where you're coming from, personally I love the album, some of the cheeky little accapellas and I love most of the tune selection.........however I do think that with MAW (along with a few other legends like Krivit, Chandler etc) a mix album often doesn't do them justice compared to seeing them live.
 
had another proper listen this weekend as was in the car for long periods of time driving around the cotswolds....and maybe i was a bit harsh.

still think that the first 4 or 5 tracks on cd 2 are a bit dodgy - but the rest is all good.....must have had cloth in my ears last week!

I must say I did not think much of this cd, just don’t think im a soulful person. I like my music like my ladies, with drive, fire and real energy. Something, which I did not find on the MAW cd.

I’m taking it back at lunch in exchange for Rodger S
