Defected at Eden - anyone been?

I am being railroaded into going to Defected at Eden on 29th July. Now, ordinarily, wild horses could not drag me into Eden but I am being ganged up on and don't have much choice as it will be our last night and all my friends want to go. So, has anyone been and if so can you give me a heads up? I'm totally au fait with the music it's more the venue and the crowd that I'm interested in hearing about.

I went to the opening and not back since. The sound system is wicked. The crowd is young and Brit heavy. The music is mostly commercial house, though depending on your guests, you might be treated to something a bit better (DJ Haus played a nice set when I went).
As a few other people have mentioned, the club is decent - but it just doesn't feel like an Ibiza club.

I'm thinking of heading along to Defected at Eden when i'm there, what are the drinks prices like inside?

I went last year and had a decent night. Young British crowd but everyone was having fun. Club is much better than it used to be.

Even though I am British, I'm slightly put off by the fact that it is a predominantly young British crowd. I prefer a more international, cosmopolitan crowd in Ibiza, but then it is in San An so that is gonna be par for the course.

Great news. Are they down to play *Deep House* set anywhere?
they're playing monday afternoon, which is likely to be a deeper set. i will be there. last night was more of the disco/house tinged stuff (sorry you'll have to excuse my lack of knowledge on genre naming - i had a good time and thats all i'm arsed about)

They been playing a few House sets back here that have been superb..tell em I said hello if you bump into them..Darren and Martin..

I went to the Defected night last year when Sam Divine was on.

The club itself seemed in good nick. Decent dancing area with area around the side looking into it. Also an upstairs balcony type area around the dancefloor looking down.

The lights and all that visual type stuff were decent and the sound system was good.

Crowd were mainly British as already mentioned, but all in good spirits and seemed well up for it!

Seemed like the place to be at the time. Everyone we’d met up with and made mates with seemed to be there. Handy as well when you can just walk there from the west end.

Also afterwards we all walked down to the beach and chilled out for an hour or two. Me and my mates teamed up with a group of lads from Stoke, we had a top laugh.

Overall, pretty decent and a good experience. I would go again.
