These videos have been going around for awhile, seems it was done for Deep House. Made me chuckle.
 
I did find it quite funny when I saw that the other day (although some if the acts mentioned aren't deep house (disclosure)

deep house will be getting dumped by the scenesters soon if daft punk come back with a disco tinged album :)

david mancuso & larry levan will be getting name dropped all over the place:)
 
I definitely think there are different genres of House, same as there are within Trance.
Where will the scenesters move on to next, I do wonder? Maybe they can all go back to indie, leave dance music alone for a lil while...

I am kinda lost when it comes to all these classfications as someone said good music and bad music thats the bottom line. I like various people from PVD, r sanchez, carl cox, Deetron and daft punk to name a few where they care classified I don't know . I love all kinds of music classifying it all seems like extra work I am lazy

I've seen that and it made me very excited as a MASSIVE Daft Punk fan :D

I found the video at the start of this thread funny. Pretty sure Alcatraz - Giv me Luv got to number 1 or number 2 in the UK charts when I was 17 or 18 (16 years or so ago). Now thats deep AND commercial whilst being one of the best tunes ever!
 
So went to a deep house night on Friday. No big names or anything but it was great fun. :)
