Decent Pub Food - West End

Hello London folk.

I am in the smoke tomorrow, staying at a fawlty towersesque hotel on Southampton Row.

Which I believe is walking distance from West End, so will prob head up that way for a couple of scoops and some decent pub food.

Any recomendations please? Just looking for a reasonable gastro pub.

No doubt for me it would have to be the Norfolk Arms on Leigh Street.

Is near Russell Square so is about 5mins walk north up Bloomsbury from where you are staying.

Really good food!
 
Ended up being really original and heading into west end. Found a place called The Real Greek (also one in Clerkenwell round corner from the office) - very tasty if over priced. Thanks for tips tho! Off again next weekend so may seek em out.
