hi all,

as the usual year end poll on fav tracks, albums, etc we always do for resident advisor, i have to come up with my 1) top album, 2) top track/remix and 3) top mix/compilation for the whole of the decade.

so i'm looking for inspiration. what would make any of your 3 lists?

Olly, you have some excellent musical taste.

That Quiet Village album was well overlooked & the Sebastian Tellier track is prob my favourite track of the decade.

I worked out my favourite album of the decade is LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver and fave comp The Blue Room (Coco/Da Bank).

As for this year, prob James Yorkston's Folk Songs (album). Not sure about a track... Prob something by Passion Pit.

Hey neilly do u rate Transitions over Closer to the Edit? Listened to Transisitions the other day and didnt think it came close personally. Will give it another spin on the way to work today

You should buy Transitions 2 disc version with the DVD - it has the whole mix made for 5.1 surround sound.

Listen to it through a home cinema system and you'll hear the difference :eek:
